Below are pics of comparisons we did between the "best" wood glue available vs. our exclusive epoxy blend. Pics show a vehicle being driven over jointed birch ply, and the results. All conditions were equal: birch ply taken from same sheet....fingerjointed at same time, proper cure etc etc.

*piece {bottom pic, left} assembled with "the best" wood glue broke below the joints. In addition, virtually every joint was destroyed in the process.

*piece at right saw the birch breaking just below the joint, as well....but every fingerjoint was left intact. Our 'EpoJoint' is quite literally stronger than the wood itself!!

'I am interested in a pine cabinet, do you offer that'?

No, not at this time.... considering adding pine in the future, though.

Why does it take 8 -9 weeks after ordering to get my cab?

Because we build every portion of every cabinet by hand, and cover each one, here, in-house. Nothing is subbed out. Our exclusive "EpoJoint", and the proper cure time needed for that is a factor, as well. We typically try to keep raw shells on hand of our most popular cabs...[4x12B & 2x12C and plexi head cabs], to help keep leadtime to a minimum.

'Are speaker cabinets available unloaded'?

Yes.

'Do you sell speakers without cabinets'?

Yes, we stock the most popular Celestions, [ 16 ohm only ], and they are available at very competitive pricing. Contact us for more info. We can obtain Eminence and Weber, too.

'Can I ship my speakers to you for you to install in my new cab'?

yes, but we have a flat rate of $10.00 minimum per speaker for speakers that are not purchased through 'StoneAge'. This applies to all speakers...new & used.

'Will you install a "M", [or another brand] logo on my cabinet?

No...we install our logo on our speaker cabinets. Head cabinets ship with no logo.

'Does 'StoneAge' ship outside the USA?
